I've known of Bill T. Jones for many years but for some reason had never photographed his company. My first opportunity was at the 2004 City Center Dance Festival and I was captivated by his movement. I sent his company the Festival photographs and soon after I was chosen to photograph Bill T. Jones' new piece, Blind Date. It was one of the best studio sessions I've ever had.  The dancers were amazing. Bill was a wonderful collaborator at the shoot. We've continued to work together and it has been decades since I've found a choreographer who's work is tailor made for my style of dance photography.
